About Thirst Studies

My name is Nana Waldréus and I am a researcher at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. My main research is about thirst in persons with heart failure. I developed the Thirst Distress Scale for patients with heart failure and it has been translated into different language versions.

The purpose of the Thirst Studies is to present ongoing research on thirst mainly in persons with heart failure, but also in persons in other contexts. Here you will also find different language versions of the Thirst Distress Scale.
