International Thirst Project

In order to get insight in the relevance of thirst of heart failure patients in different countries, a study will be conducted to describe the prevalence of thirst, thirst intensity, thirst distress and related factors with thirst.

The Thirst Distress Scale

The Thirst Distress Scale is an instrument developed to measures thirst distress in patients with heart failure and has been translated into different languages.
